On July 4, the total inventory of domestic soda ash enterprises was 94.96 tons (including some manufacturers' external inventory), an increase of 1.1% from the inventory on June 27, and a year-on-year increase of 171.8%. Among them, the heavy alkali inventory was 44.7 tons, an increase from June 27 Inventories decreased by 2.8%. This week, the overall operation of soda ash plants has declined, and the supply of goods has decreased. This week, downstream users and traders have become more enthusiastic about purchasing goods, and the inventory of soda ash plants has obviously ended.

The spot market is light and stable. As of July 2, the mainstream transaction price of heavy alkali in North China is 2,100-2,200 yuan/ton.

Key information on spot market:

1. The operating burden rate of the soda ash industry has declined recently. Inner Mongolia Yingen Chemical and Jiangsu Jingshen have insufficient capacity to start construction. This month, Tangshan Sanyou and Tianjin Soda Plant have killer plans.
2. Soda ash manufacturers have more pending orders. Recently, downstream users and traders have been replenishing imports, soda ash companies have improved their order-taking situation, most manufacturers have increased their pending orders, and the prices of new orders have increased slightly.
3. Spot prices continue to rise. Today, the price of light alkali from soda ash manufacturers increased by 30-50 yuan/ton.
