DESCRIPTION:

Diethylene glycol is a colorless, odorless, transparent, hygroscopic viscous liquid with a pungent smell, non-corrosive.

APPLICATION:

1. Mainly used as gas dehydrating agent and aromatic extraction solvent. It is also used as solvent of nitrocellulose, resin, grease, printing ink, softener and finishing agent of textiles, and extraction of coumarin and indene from coal tar. In addition, two glycol is also used as brake oil mixture, celluloid softener, antifreeze and diluent during emulsion polymerization. Also used in rubber and resin plasticizers; Polyester resin; Fiberglass; Carbamate foam; Production of lubricating oil viscosity improver and other products. Used for synthesis of unsaturated polyester resin, etc.
2. Used as synthetic unsaturated polyester resin, plasticizer, etc. It is also used as antifreeze, gas dehydrating agent, plasticizer, solvent, aromatic extraction agent, cigarette hygroscopic agent, textile lubricant and finishing agent, anti-drying agent of paste and various adhesives, reducing dye hygroscopic cosolvent, etc. It is a common solvent for oil, resin, nitrocellulose, etc.
